Collections of tools, seeds, and/or toys for borrowing
There are examples of libraries that lend tools (power tools, garden tools, sewing machines, etc.), open-pollinated seeds, and toys (games, sports equipment, craft supplies). Could MIT libraries offer collections like those - in the spirit of hands-on learning?
Why do you care about library spaces, collections, and services?:
In the spirit of sustainability, I like to reduce the amount of *stuff* I buy - so, borrowing items from a library collection is ideal!
